Dacia Logan MCV (13 - present)

The Logan MCV (Maximum Capacity Vehicle) is the third car in the budget Dacia brand, joining the Duster and the Sandero. It’s all about practicality (which is evident in its name alone) and affordability. It’s also one of the best looking cars in its class, which is impressive considering the price and the cars it competes with. The cabin is very well-built and packed full of standard kit and safety features, all of which are neatly laid out and very easy to use. There’s lots of soft-touch materials inside to give it a refined, comfortable feel and it looks really good too.  On the road, the Logan has great handling and steering and makes for a smooth ride, though parking can be a little tricky due to its size. Surprisingly, there is hardly any body-roll on corners thanks to the extremely well-made chassis. There’s an excellent range of engines available that impress when it comes to efficiency and fuel economy.

•  There’s a fantastic range of efficient engines to choose from

•  It’s really cheap to buy and doesn’t cost much to keep on the road either

•  Decent amount of standard kit and safety features on board

What we don't like

•  It can be difficult to park and manoeuvre due to its sheer size
